Rosalini Film Productions is an independent, full-service motion picture production company.

We mold the idea, then create the images and words, assemble these as a fluid whole, provide a music score, and deliver the finished product.

Over our 30-year history we have conceived and produced more than 80 projects in a wide range of subjects, employing an equally wide range of artistic approaches, and serving widely varied purposes—in education, public relations, corporate image advertising, non-profit fundraising, government and public affairs, and all-ages family entertainment. Our specialty is live-action narrative filmmaking, with emphasis on documentaries.

Our work has taken us throughout the U.S. and to more than 20 countries on five continents —on land, in the air, and under the seas—and has been seen by diverse audiences in a variety of formats and media, ranging from 30-second commercials to 2-hour programs.  In addition to being broadcast in nationwide commercial syndication and on the Discovery Channel, Hallmark Channel, and Public Television, our films have been utilized in special events and enjoyed in giant-screen (IMAX®) theatrical exhibition.

Our client/sponsor base consists of Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries: insurance and financial services, real estate, automotive manufacturing, agriculture, travel, food services, home and personal care products, outdoor recreation, aviation and shipbuilding, advertising and entertainment.  We’ve also worked with non-profits, including several natural history and technology museums, two nationally-acclaimed zoos and an aquarium, an open lands conservation project, a classical music festival, and various other charitable organizations.  The majority of our clients are repeat customers, and we’re proud of our on-time/on-budget track record.

Our filmmaking philosophy is simple and rests on the primacy of characterization, story, meaning.  Then, regardless of the technology or techniques we choose, the location, subject matter, program length or budget, it is the clarity of the content and emotional resonance that matter most.

Our films have been recognized with three Emmy awards, a fourth Emmy nomination, a half-dozen first-place awards from major international film festivals, and nearly 30 industry-specific honors, including two Picasso awards, an Addy, four U.S. Gold Cameras, and the highest recognition for film and video production awarded by the Public Relations Society of America, the Bronze Anvil.  In 1994, Screen Magazine named the company’s founder, Dugan Rosalini, ‘Director of the Year’.

We are a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the International Giant Screen Cinema Association, the Independent Feature Project, and a founding member of the Large Format Film Association.
